Managing Your Pipeline
Learn how to move leads through pipeline stages and track your progress.
A pipeline is a visual representation of where each deal stands in your sales process. Castor Flow gives you a simple, customisable pipeline out of the box.
Default stages
Every new account starts with five stages:
- New — freshly added leads that have not been contacted yet
- Contacted — you have reached out at least once
- Qualified — the lead has shown interest or fits your criteria
- Proposal — you have sent a quote or proposal
- Won — deal closed successfully
There is also a "Lost" status for deals that did not convert.
Moving a lead through stages
In the Businesses table, click the Stage badge on any row to open a dropdown and select the new stage. You can also change the stage from inside the business detail panel.
Filtering by stage
Use the Stage filter at the top of the Businesses page to show only leads in a particular stage. This is useful for daily focus — for example, showing only "Contacted" leads to decide who to follow up with.
💡 Tip
Work your pipeline from right to left. Start each day by checking leads in Proposal, then Qualified, then Contacted. Move anything that needs action before adding new leads.
Customising stages
Go to Settings → Pipeline to rename stages or change their order. Changes apply immediately to all existing leads.
