Moving Deals Through Stages

How to update pipeline stages as deals progress.


Moving a deal through your pipeline is the core action of sales management. Castor Flow makes it as fast as possible.

From the Businesses table

In the Businesses page, every row shows the current stage as a coloured badge. Click the badge to open a dropdown and select the new stage. The change saves instantly.

From the business detail panel

Click on a business name to open the detail panel. The stage selector is shown prominently at the top of the panel. Changing it here also triggers a prompt to log an interaction, so you can record why the stage changed.

Bulk stage changes

Select multiple rows in the Businesses table using the checkboxes, then click "Change Stage" in the action bar that appears. This is useful for moving a batch of leads from "New" to "Contacted" after a mass outreach.

💡 Tip

Whenever you move a deal forward, log an interaction at the same time. This keeps your contact history accurate and gives you data to identify patterns in what moves deals forward.
